TMC wishes Karryl Kim Sagun all the best. Karryl is currently a PhD scholar at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. She is focusing on Information Studies. Prior to pursuing a postgraduate degree in Information Studies in NTU, Karryl was connected with the Ateneo de Manila University (Philippines) as Assistant to the Director for Special Programs and Events and Reference Librarian of the Rizal Library.
She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Library and Information Science from the University of the Philippines, and received her Master’s Degree in Technology Management from the same university. She has been in the profession for four years, and was connected with the publishing industry prior to joining the academe.
She currently keeps her hands busy through research and project collaborations (the most recent of which is the online course, 23 Mobile Things: Philippines & Singapore), people watching, and playing tabletop games.
Karryl, hope you can also teach in your alma mater in the future.
