TMC Successfully Completes UPD QAO’s IQA 2025 Workshops

August 12, 2025

The Technology Management Center (TMC) proudly participated in and successfully completed Batch 1 of the Paghahanda 2025: Self-Assessment Report (SAR) Preparation Workshops, organized by the UP Diliman Quality Assurance Office (UPD QAO). The sessions were held on July 21, 30, August 4, and 11, 2025 at UP Diliman.

The initiative, part of IQA 2025, brought together nine degree-granting units (DGUs) to strengthen their capacity in preparing Self-Assessment Reports in line with international quality assurance standards. With SAR submissions for graduate programs targeted by the end of 2025, the workshops provided essential guidance for units like TMC in ensuring alignment with Outcomes-Based Education (OBE) principles and the AUN-QA Programme Level Assessment criteria.

Facilitated by lead trainers Prof. Rosella Torrecampo, Prof. Emeritus Irene Villasenor, Prof. Evangeline Amor, and Assistant Professor Jon Paul Maligalig, the four-day workshop series combined in-depth lectures with interactive sessions and open forums. These activities fostered collaboration, critical reflection, and exchange of best practices among participating units.

Representing TMC in the workshops were Prof. Glen Imbang and University Research Associates Ana Patricia Carolina, Audrey Marcos, and Judy Mae Lumayag. Their active participation underscored TMC’s commitment to academic excellence and its readiness to engage in continuous quality assurance initiatives.

By completing the workshops, TMC reaffirms its commitment to upholding quality standards in technology management education and contributing to UP Diliman’s continuing pursuit of academic excellence. This milestone marks a significant step in TMC’s preparation for its upcoming SAR submission and its broader mission of providing innovation-driven, globally competitive graduate programs.
